This Privacy Policy describes how Thinklytics LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a Texas limited liability company, collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Scout prospecting service ("Service"). By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to:
The Service collects and processes publicly available business information about prospects, including full name, job title, and professional seniority; business email addresses; company name, domain, industry, and size; professional history and role changes (from public sources); company news, funding events, hiring activity, and technology usage (from public sources); and business signals such as job postings, press releases, regulatory filings, and patent applications.
Sources of Prospect Data: We gather prospect information from publicly available sources including company websites, news publications, SEC filings, job boards, patent databases, regulatory filings, professional directories, and licensed third-party B2B data and email-verification providers. We do not scrape private social media profiles or access information behind authentication walls without authorization.
We use Client information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; process payments and manage subscriptions; communicate about your account, deliverables, and Service updates; provide customer support; and comply with legal obligations.
We process prospect information solely to research, score, and qualify leads on behalf of our Clients; generate personalized outreach sequences; verify email deliverability; detect buying signals and assess timing relevance; and deliver scored prospect lists, briefs, and research summaries to our Clients. We process prospect data as a service provider/processor acting on behalf of our Clients. Our Clients are the controllers of prospect data and are responsible for ensuring their use of the deliverables complies with applicable law.
The Service uses artificial intelligence and large language models to analyze publicly available information about companies and individuals; score and classify prospects based on fit, timing, and authority; generate outreach copy and research summaries; and detect and verify buying signals. AI-generated outputs are subject to verification processes, but may occasionally contain inaccuracies. We implement anti-fabrication safeguards including multi-source cross-validation and fact-verification passes.
We do not sell personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:
We share information with third-party service providers who assist in delivering the Service, including data enrichment providers (for contact verification and company research); email verification services (to validate deliverability); cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting and data storage); CRM and email platforms (at your direction, to sync deliverables); and payment processors (to process subscription payments). All service providers are bound by contractual obligations to protect information and use it only for the purposes of providing their services to us.
Prospect data and research outputs are delivered to the Client who commissioned the research. We do not share one Client's prospect data, ICP, or strategies with other Clients.
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected parties of any change in ownership or use of information.
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest; secure credential storage (secrets stored by reference, not in plaintext); access controls and authentication (including rate limiting and lockout mechanisms); regular security reviews of our codebase and infrastructure; and circuit-breaker patterns to prevent cascading failures. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
As a Client, you may access, update, or correct your account information at any time; request deletion of your account and associated data; export your deliverables and prospect data; and cancel your subscription as described in our Terms of Service.
If you are a prospect whose information has been processed by our Service, you may request access (ask what information we hold about you), request correction, request deletion, or opt out (request that your information not be included in future research outputs). To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within thirty (30) days. Note that we process prospect data on behalf of our Clients; in some cases, we may direct you to the Client who commissioned the research.
If you are a Texas resident, you have the right to confirm whether we are processing your personal data; access your personal data; correct inaccuracies; delete your personal data; obtain a copy in a portable format; and opt out of processing for targeted advertising, sale of personal data, or profiling. The Service is operated from the United States. If you are located outside the United States, please be aware that information you provide will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to this transfer. If you are located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, we process data on the basis of legitimate interest (providing the Service) or contractual necessity.
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party platforms (e.g., your CRM or email-sending platform). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify Clients of material changes by email or through the Service at least fifteen (15) days before they take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top indicates when the policy was most recently revised.
